23/07/2009 LEARNERSHIP SURVEYS PARENTS
Getting children and parents together on the PC to feedback about school performance is a truly new initiative in the UK and has produced insightful results. This is a just a start - repeat surveys will help the Head uncover tangible progress with improvements and share these with teachers, Governors and parents.
Interestingly the findings not only produce a need for school to make changes, but also parents - the children have no choice but to learn more, in as many ways as possible .....so maybe the adults can learn something from them!
